Preventing Mortgage Repossessions

Date: Monday 5th March
Location: Orbit Centre, Merthyr Tydfil

Wales has some of the highest rates of repossession in the UK and with the economic forecast remaining gloomy, mortgage arrears and repossessions will continue to be a key issue in 2012.

This event will explore how lenders, government, local authorities and independent housing and debt advice services can work together to prevent people losing their homes wherever possible.

A keynote speech from the Minister for Housing will be followed by a mix of presentations, Q&A, panel sessions and workshops with a strong practical focus.

The overall aim of the event is to build on delegates’ contributions to produce a clear good practice guide for professionals working across the range of related sectors.
