JOB DESCRIPTION
Employed by: Welsh Centre for International Affairs (WCIA)
Responsible to: Chief Executive
Salary: £15,725 per annum* (NJC Point 14), initially for 1 year (extension possible, on condition of satisfactory performance and agreement for post continuation) * Salary paid on NJC scale – incremental increase may be offered after 1 year, subject to Performance review and overall review of WCIA salaries

Base: Offices of the Welsh Centre for International Affairs, Temple of Peace, Cathays Park, Cardiff.

Hours: 37 hours per week, working 7.5 hours Monday-Thursday and 7 hours Friday. Time off in lieu is available for periods worked outside these hours.

Annual leave: 28 days plus bank holidays

Travel: You may occasionally be asked to travel within Wales for work purposes. Use of public transport is preferred; when this is not convenient staff may use their own vehicle. The current mileage rate is 45p.

Probation: An initial three-month probationary period applies to this post.
